Autotune

KRAUTOK 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009

Autotune is the techno-boy-group with house-appeal, that acts like the T-1000 killerbot in “Terminator 2″: Formed by Adel Dior and Fabian Feyerabendt the project exploded, after a harsh conflict about the house-cleaning. In comes Jan-Eric Scholz, Autotune is complete again and ready to rumble big time. And sometimes there´s some Alexander Gerlach added: Autotune transforms to Die Raketen.

ANTON WALDT

KRAUTOK 1995, 2006, 2007, 2008 & 2009

Since discovering an early variety of ringtone-dub on his Commodore 64 in 1982 Anton Waldt was trapped in electronic music ever since. Waldt has been part of the Toktok-Crew for most of the 90ties until Nerk and Feyerabendt found out that he is a no-brainer and kicked him out. 2006 Anton Waldt suddenly was back on the scene playing ringtone-dub on a single XBase.

FEED

KRAUTOK 2007, 2008 & 2009

Feed walks the line. Feed is the famous office opussum at De:Bug magazine. Since Mitte Karaoke split Feed was playing solo live acts until he discovered his new dream partner at last year´s Krautok. Will this year see another Waldt-goes-drumcrazy-to-Feeds-Drums-and-Blimps?

BOZZWELL

KRAUTOK 2008, KRAUTOK 2009

Producer, vocalist, songwriter, performer, musician, international dj the list goes on, our Bozzwell first appeared on the radar as one of The All Seeing I ‘s tentacles, back in the day, wowing the crowds with his exeptionally high pitched ball clenching false etto, his funky bass lines and keyboard wizardry, and who could forget that legendary Top of The Pops appearance dressed as some kind of space aged bandit. Since then he´s gone on to produce some very fine records indeed for some of the undergrounds most establised imprints including releases through Crosstown Rebels and Eskimo as Hiem, with his partner in Electro crime Nick Eastwood, he also seems to be turning feet and heads with his solo “Bozzwell “ releases which so far have hit the racks through Eskimo’s sister label Suicide and also more recently a brand new spanking killer 12” “The Fionas Song ep “ via Firm records Cologne, who sit comfortably under the Kompakt umberella, this release has been causing a stir amongst the cooler pages of the music press with rave reviews everywhere, so with all these releases and all the superstar producer remixes from Justus Koehnke, Dirk Leyers, Konrad Black and Mathew Johnson all tucked under his belt theres plenty more to come from this sheffield hairy bear of a man. Next sees the release of the first Hiem full long player where bozzwell has been collaberating with all sorts of pop and dance royalty including Roots Manuva, Kate Jackson (The Long Blondes) and of course the Sheffield Electro pop hero of our times Sir Phil Oakey of the Human Leauge, the album is expected to hit the shops around december, early 2009 with single releases from september through sheffield uber cool Society records.

M-Piper stands for extroverted electronic music. The three boys (Chris Sonaxx, Carl Carlson and Rob Medina) have a deep understanding of what gets a crowd moving successfully, using a diverse but danceable range of tracks. Mainly due to the use of analogue sound engines the audience are treated to a superb audible performance which is coupled with a unique visual experience. The sound of M-Piper is most appropriately described as a mixture of pure, deep techno and raw electro sound. KRAUTOK 2009

AUDDIE is a new berliner techno project from one of the most interesting performers of the french electronic scene. 10 maxi vinyls and 2 albums under the name STALKER, Auddie has come back to true techno, with a very personal style. He plays with machines, no computer on stage. That makes the difference: he can create a very particular relationship with the public, with many parts of improvisations, voices, and a unique energy. Most of his work is live act-based, to be really adapted to the serious dance rules.

KRAUTOK 2007, 2008, 2009

When the “Secret University of Pop” was born in 2004, the two roomates Alex & Jörg where asked to contribute a song for a chill out/listening compilation called “A Minute To Pray And A Second To Die” by the Berlin/Hamburg label Krikl Krakl. Out Came “Paradise Fresh”. After playing several live-sets on electronic partys around Berlin, the need for some harder, floor-shaking material emerged. So recently S.U.O.P. is working in the twilight zone between abstract songs and tracks, offering both the minimal textures of the contemporary Berlin music idiom and sparse but maximal vocals with a soulful vibe. Since Alex left to concentrate on his studies, S.U.O.P. is carried on as a solo project.

KRAUTOK 2006, 2008
