Krautok-Club 2007: Tresor.

Krautok ist kontrollierter Wahnsinn. Ein Tag Non-Stop elektronische Live-Musik, zwischen Hippie-Jam und Techno oszillierend: Krautok-Musiker spielen nicht in Serie sondern im Cluster. Die Übergänge zwischen den einzelnen Live Acts morphen, Ein- oder Ausklinken ist prinzipiell immer möglich. Krautok reflektiert die repetitive, elektronische Musik der 70er Jahre, aber auch den Berlin-Sound der letzten Dekade.

24 hours electronic live-music in a traditional german Hippie – fashion. Krautok-acts don´t line up, they perform in clusters. Dropping in to the sound or fading away is always possible for the musicians, so there´s no cut between the live-acts and jammings.

Zehn 16-Kanal-Mischpulte und eine MIDI-Clock, die alle in den gleichen Takt bringt: Krautok bringt die Studios der Elektro-Tüftler und Techno-Diven auf die Bühne. Ungefilterter Sound, ohne Umweg über Labels, Vinyl und DJ. Krautok morpht zwischen Tanzmusik und Filterforschung. Elektrizität schmiert sich durch Klangerzeuger, Transistoren versohlen die Tanzfläche, Schweiß tropft auf Potentiometer. Die Uhr läuft – Aber wen kümmert´s?

Krautok gets them out of their studios and right into the club: Old techno-farts and electronic kids swinging together between four-to-the-floor and filter-science. Electricity sneeks through sound-devices, transistors beating up the dancefloor, sweat drops on potentiometers.
